I capture weddings as they unfold, all of the raw emotions. While I'm always just a step away, I also approach weddings as if I'm a bystander so that there are no forced moments.

This is an excuse for allll the PDA! I like for clients to think of sessions as date nights! It's way more fun for both. We can go somewhere, anywhere. Maybe it's a bucket-list location, your favorite coffee spot, or in your living room with your fur babies. Whatever place is the perfect reflection of you guys, that's where we'll go!
While I absolutely love when couples can just do their own thing, I'm here to guide you if needed! I offer prompts for us to capture those natural moments that are just *chef's kiss*

This is such a special & exciting time that only lasts a season. But my oh my, is it an important one. There's a life growing inside of you, isn't it simply amazing what the human body can do? It's so important to document this time, because it'll never be like this again.
I always say I love shooting weddings because it's impossible to be sad at one, well, I feel the same towards maternity sessions. I approach maternity sessions in a similar way as couples sessions, just with a little more focus on the child growing inside of you. I will prompt & give guidance as needed to capture this snapshot in time.

FAQ
How long have you been a wedding photographer?
I've been a wedding photographer for about 4.5 years! Most people get into photography as a hobby & then turn it into a business, but my background is a bit different. If you read on the about page, this information might be a little redundant. I was in college for graphic design, and the college I was attending consolidated with another college. While nothing was *supposed* to change, everything did. My classes got messed up, and by that point I was just ready to graduate, so I took lots of darkroom photography classes since it was something I had an interest in! I learned to shoot on an old film camera, which made picking up a digital one so much easier. So while I only have a few years experience of being in business, I've been learning & perfecting my techniques since 2017.
Where are you based?
I live in Kingsland, Ga! If you were to look on a map, it's right where the Georgia/Florida line meets on the east coast. I serve surrounding areas up to 125 miles at no additional cost. This includes Savannah, Richmond Hill, Brunswick, St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, Amelia Island, Jacksonville & St. Augustine!
We've never had photos taken, what can we expect?
First things first, if you're thinking you are awkward, or any other negative thoughts, get those out of your head! My guess is you likely don't have modeling experience, just like 90% of my clients. Yes, that fabulous couple on the home page was just like you! It's not your job to know what to do with your hands, or how to pose. While I won't pose you in a traditional way, as I feel that can be uncomfortable & awkward, too (think school photo experience), I will guide you into natural positions through different prompts. I always encourage interacting with your partner & trying to forget that there is a camera pointed at you. I incorporate lots of movement by prompting you to dance, twirl, hug, whatever feels natural. Just show up with a smile & good attitude, leave the rest to me!
How/When will receive our photos?
What happens if it's raining or bad weather?
It's no secret that we get lots of rain here, dang those afternoon thunderstorms. If that happens, no worries. If it's just a little rain, with no lightning, and you don't mind shooting in it, I'm always down for the adventure! But, I do know that's not for everyone so I try not to overbook myself to keep backup dates. We will work to reschedule. During summer months, the best way to avoid rainy weather it to opt for a sunrise shoot instead of sunset.
Where will my shoot be?
I have several different places that I like to shoot, it just depends on the vibe of your session & where you'll be! I am based out of Kingsland, Ga - it's right on the Georgia/Florida state line. Because there's not much here, I shoot from Savannah, Ga to St. Augustine, Fl with no additional travel fee. Anything further than that, I charge a fee which is calculated dependent upon location and some other details. I scout locations to fit your vision for your shoot (that's why it's important you tell me all about what you like). If there is someplace special or important to you, I'd love to incorporate it as well!

What do I wear?
I'm glad you asked, I have a little styling guide, nothing crazy, that I'll send to you a couple weeks before we meet! The best thing to keep in mind though, make sure it's an outfit you're comfy & confident in. Color wise, I recommend neutrals, earth tones, or I always love a good black & white outfit. A little bit of pattern is okay too, just don't go crazy with it. If you need help, I'm always an email away & don't mind giving an opinion!
Do you offer payment plans?
I do! My standard plan is 50% due upon booking, with the other 50% due the day of for sessions, or 2 weeks before for weddings. I also offer the option to split this into more payments, I understand photos are a big investment & that's a chunk of money to drop at one time. If you communicate your needs with me, I'm willing to help however I can!
How do we book you?
Start by filling out my contact form here! The more information you can provide, the better I can serve you. I’ll follow up to send you package options and schedule a time to chat — on a call or over a drink — so you have the opportunity to ask any questions and so I can get to know you two a little bit more! If you decide you would like to move forward with securing the date, I will send a proposal for your review and submission as well as a request a 50% retainer to hold the date. Once the agreement and retainer have been completed, I am all yours!
